There is something whimsical, nostalgic and romantic about hand-painted custom maps, don't you think? The way that rich and sweeping watercolor is punctuated by finer details and sharper illustrations in gouache to tell a story of travel, of love, of growth, of places in faraway memories and those frequently visited. Whether it is a custom map gifted for an anniversary and to trace all the places you fell in love, a custom map marking all the places you have wandered and streets you have called home, or a custom travel or wedding map i can create it.

So your all in for a hand painted watercolor map-nice choice! Illustrated maps (hand-made!) add a layer of storytelling and personality that can't be replicated. The three ways to work with me to make a hand-painted map:

Commission. This means a single fee to a map for your personal use. Thing gift, wall art or wedding invite. For this option you can even jump straight to our online shop.

Licensing. I love enthusiasm and if you can see your map way-finding visitors to your airbnb, tourist site, town or popped into marketing such as brochures and guidebooks then I will l draw up a license agreement personalized to you. .

Send an email, don't be shy and tell me about your idea's and needs including the deadline. Expect a few emails back and forth to settle all the exciting details

I'll get drawing! If you would like you can see the pencil sketch prior to painting for 1x feedback round. Then the paints are out and its full colour steam ahead.

Now its all about delivery and or scanning and organizing print depending on the adventures that lay ahead for you and your freshly illustrated hand-painted map.
